On Wednesday 30th November, London’s City Hall hosted the 1st edition of the International Zero Emission Bus Conference, combined with the 10th edition of the International Fuel Cell Bus Workshop.
Organised by Element Energy, CTE, and the CHIC project, the event was a huge success. Over 250 high level stakeholders from 22 countries witnessed the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, unveil the world’s first double-decker hydrogen bus and participated in an exciting programme of events over the course of the two days.
Representatives from local authorities, industry, national and financial regulatory bodies, transit operations, and funding agencies held energetic discussions around the commercialisation paths of zero emission bus (ZEB) technologies and their readiness for largescale commercial deployment. All agreed that ZEB technologies are now ready to be rolled out globally.
If you were unable to attend or want to re-experience the event, the full programme and presentations from across both days of the event are available here.
Additionally, newly released reports, containing the most cutting-edge discussions in the ZEB industry are available exclusively on the CHIC website.
